To publicise Buy Nothing Day
(November 26th, 2005) and therefore to encourage people to
think twice about their need to buy, I arranged an ‘action’
at the new Chapelfields shopping centre in Norwich where I
and fellow students handed out brown paper carrier bags (made
from recycled paper which I had designed and screen-printed
by hand), which contained a card with
information and stickers for people’s wallets or credit
cards.
