I decided to subvert the original intentions of the IKEA and Screwfix catalogues (chosen for their semi-iconic consumerist status - and because I found them lying around...) with just white household paint - and chance - just to see what would happen. The result is a series of photographs and paintings (I re-used second-hand canvases donated by a friend). I also used the painted-over pages to create Christmas cards and seed packets and as an experimental book for my garden diary and other writing.
