There
is stark contrast between the calm of the sea today - that
amazing silver blue you only get on winter days - and the
re-sculpting of the beach in recent storms. Vast banks of
shingle and sand have been bulldozed up the beach, too high
and untable to scale and uprooting all the shingle vegetation
in their wake.
